I’ve been educating myself on what I’m really putting on my body since up to 70% of what is applied to the skin is believed to be absorbed into the body.
Nars vs @drhauschkausa
I’ve been using NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer for many years. Unfortunately I researched what ingredients NARS uses to make their concealer and I found they use a lot of chemicals which are linked to cancer, allergies, immunotoxicity, neurotoxicity, and organ system toxicity.
🚨🚫 Like most people I was oblivious to harmful chemicals that lurk within cosmetics and personal care products. Studies have shown that the average consumer uses up to 25 different products that contain over 200 different chemicals. While exposure to a single product is unlikely to cause any harm, repeated exposure to chemicals from many different sources on a daily basis is justifiable cause for concern.
For the past several months I’ve been using @drhauschkausa Cover-stick Skin Corrector 01.
🌿🐰🌺
This cover-stick is one of my favorite concealers – it covers all dark spots, blemishes and and it actually makes my skin look better when I remove my makeup.
This coverstick combines nurturing botanical extracts with moisture retaining precious oils and waxes. Tea tree and manuka oils reduce the appearance of blemishes while extracts of rose petal, calendula, carrot and anthyllis visibly reduce redness. Natural mineral pigments blend and conceal for an even complexion.
Dr. Hauschka Concealer is a truly natural organic cosmetic, certified organic. Free from synthetic fragrances, dyes, preservatives, mineral oils, parabens, silicone and PEG.
